This IDC study presents an assessment of the competitive landscape of mobile operators in Indonesia in terms of the various voice and data plans offered by the local mobile carriers. "As the availability of mobile Internet connection becomes more widespread in Indonesia, mobile operators will need to consider various strategies to educate the subscribers on the value of ICTs. Mobile operators are expected to shift some focus toward 'digital business,' where delivery of services will be focused on mobile devices as a medium," says Meriska Elfiarini, senior market analyst for Telecommunications, IDC Indonesia.
